I was only 10, when we went hear in Manila from Davao. The life since then was a great challenge. New environment, classmates, teachers and new house. But, being friendly is a lot of help. I met new friends, join a ride at the village, eat with them, and even sleep with them. But since then, i learned my new environment. Its quite "different but challenging".
And after 13 years, I went back in our home town. "Not a kid anymore. I'm a lady." But the memories were still alive. My friends were still there but were now different. They look older than me, hahaha! and others were married with a kid. And me, still single =). The Francisco F. Bustamante Elementary School was still there. And know what? Its still the same as before. My grand mother's house was also still there were my uncle was there who take good care of it. The beautiful Beach in Island Garden City of Samal, my father's hometown was improved. And the way to went there is by "Lantsa"- a Pump boat. Also malls were situated on the cities.
I was happy to see them all and treasure those times when I was there again.
